The Liverpool Supporters Club of Luxembourg was founded in 2002 by a group of supporters living in Luxembourg. We figured we would form an organised club and use it as a means to raise money for Charity. So far we have raised and given away over €2,500.
We were amazed at the response we got for membership. In the first year we had over 100 fully paid up members. We are still around 100 strong even after 3 years.
You don't have to be a Luxembourg resident to join. In fact we have a few International members amonst our ranks. We are always looking for new members to help us in any way to raise even more money for good causes than we have already.
Our base is the Black Stuff Irish Pub close to Luxembourg City, where we tend to be on match nights. As you can imagine we have had some memorable (and some not so memorable) nights at the Black. On sticks in mind..........
This web site has recently been revamped, and so there is not much content at the moment, but I would encourage you to register and add your comments, and stories. After all this web site is for you, the members. We of course welcome any guests who would like to contribute too.
If you are interested in joining the supporters club, please see below for the contact details, or you could always pop into the Black Stuff and have a cool pint of Guiness, and if it happens to be match night, ask one of the friendly bunch in a red shirt. Membership is a very resonable €10 to join and then only €5 each year to renew your membership. Most games are shown live at the Black Stuff, if they are being televised.
Well this is the first post (I think) on the shiny new website, and I think I've gone on long enough.
